Commercial & Digital fitness programmes for the enterprise

Our team

Our team is made up of experienced associate consultants who have worked with some of the best known retail, banking & automotive brands. We've developed and delivered a variety of commercial procurement and IT delivery operating models, identified and recruited new team members and trained existing teams to work in more innovative, efficient, cost saving ways. We use our extensive network to match our consultants to the experience and value each client assignment demands. We  help you minimise costs & risk and improve value  delivered from  your suppliers.

Marks & Spencer is where many of our team  worked together and developed their experience in commercial and IT best practises.

Over several years we have worked on IT  &  Procurement  transformation. Working with a new CIO we lead the restructure of the IT Group to enable delivery of 7 x concurrent business critical programmes including new EPOS, EComm, ERP & Store Staffing solutions. This necessitated a significant change to the IT Delivery Model with major Skills Development and Outsourcing programmes.

We  later lead the change programme for a centralised Indirect Procurement function, designing  an innovative, award winning, operating model & buyers training programme. This included  both team & enterprise capability development and  procurement systems roadmaps.

We were one of the first to exploit the Microsoft Office 365 collaboration platform to help deliver these new, innovative, operating models. We've developed  procurement sourcing apps, employee portals and global Finance Group communication programmes using the platform.

Debenhams wanted an Indirect Procurement function established, starting in the Operations  group but designed for eventual rollout to support the entire cost base

Appointed by the COO & CFO to implement the foundations of an enterprise wide procurement operating model in IT & Logistics. We went about recruiting a small, agile, internal team to deliver against the business case  we'd got agreed by the board. In parallel to this capability work we brought in our ERP software & services expert to support   enterprise level Oracle and IBM software & services contract reviews & renewals. Our support team later flexed to deliver Logistics, Travel & Expenses, Supply Chain Finance & Shared Services category plans. We'd exploited the Microsoft Office 365  platform as part of the procurement operating model  work so we also helped the Finance & IT teams develop an exploitation approach and delivered training to take it on further.

Monsoon needed support with  changing the way they delivered IT solutions to support the new business strategy.

Appointed by the CIO & CFO to play a hand's on role in getting the IT OPEX under control, developing a commercial strategy for the group and then implementing cost control and contract negotiations  aligning to the new strategy. Alongside this we recruited a new internal team member to the IT Leadership Team to take on  new procurement and financial  management driving the new  operating model. We also supported  IT Service Delivery teams with ITIL best practise and Microsoft  Office 365 exploitation opportunities.

Inchcape needed a single global way of managing their supply base across 150+ businesses in 34 countries

Initially appointed by the Global Supply Chain Director to develop the business case for a global Source to Pay (S2P) platform from Coupa, So What Solutions then lead the implementation through UK, Australasia, Asia, Europe and South America markets. We built and lead a team of experienced consultants managing business change & engagement, user & supplier enablement and platform configuration and integration with their existing SAP and CDK Autoline ERPs.
